Am I in perimenopause?

If you are older than 45...

And your menstrual cycle has recently increased or decreased by 7 or more days, you are in perimenopause. No testing is necessary (just make sure you are not pregnant).

If you are not menstruating because you have had a hysterectomy or ablation, test follicle-stimulating hormone and estradiol to see if you are in the menopause transition.

If you are under 45...
