Order laboratory tests online and have results reviewed by a naturopathic doctor. Target optimal nutrient and hormone levels for disease prevention.

1. Select your tests

Choose from the laboratory curated test lists and frequently requested individual lab tests from your local laboratories - LifeLabs and Dynacare.

LifeLabs and Dynacare ask for a collection fee to compensate the laboratory technicians for their work. Select tests from the same laboratory to complete your testing in a single collection. In-Common Laboratories kits have no collection fee since you are collecting the sample at home.

Georgina Naturopathic provides an official receipt with the naturopathic doctor's licence number for insurance reimbursement and as an eligible medical expense on your tax return. Collection and interpretation fees are covered by insurance plans that cover laboratory testing and naturopathy.

2. Receive a requisition & collect sample

Receive your LifeLabs/Dynacare requisition by email the same day. Print and visit your nearest LifeLabs or Dynacare location for collection.

The closest LifeLabs is in the Georgina Grace clinic in Sutton (the Giant Tiger Plaza). The closest Dynacare is in Keswick (the Walmart Plaza). 

Receive your In-Common Laboratories test kit, requisition, and pre-paid Purolator shipping label in one week by mail. Call the number provided for a Purolator sample pick up from your doorstep.

 3. View results & interpretation

Within 2 weeks of sample collection, you will be notified by email that your results are ready on Georgina Naturopathic's OutSmart patient portal and sent an access link. 

Our naturopathic doctor, Yulia Lasenko, will call you to go over the results. If we are unable to reach you, you will receive your interpretation by email. We welcome a follow-up phone call from you if any aspect of that interpretation is unclear. For any suboptimal nutrient levels, we will provide dosing recommendations on how to address the deficiency. If any results require follow-up, you will receive direction for future care and testing.

1Pregnancy Test
Detects pregnancy as early as 8 days after conception, and before a missed period.
2Urine Test
Check for urinary tract infections, and the presence of sugar, blood, protein, bilirubin and ketones.
3Hemoglobin A1C

Finger prick to show blood sugar regulation over the past three months - the percentage of sugar-coated red blood cells.

4Vaginal pH

A test done during a gyneocological exam. Vaginas are usually acidic in order to prevent infection.

PAPs, vaginal swabs, and sexually transmitted infection (STI) tests are also available, costs vary by laboratory.
