1. Select your tests

Georgina Naturopathic provides an official receipt with the naturopathic doctor's licence number for insurance reimbursement and as an eligible medical expense on your tax return.

LifeLabs and Dynacare charge a collection fee, which pays the lab technicians for their work. Try to choose tests from the same laboratory to get everything completed in a single collection. 

In-Common Laboratory kits have no collection fee.

2. Receive a requisition & collect sample

Receive your requisition by email the same day. Print and visit your nearest LifeLabs or Dynacare location.

The closest LifeLabs is in the Georgina Grace clinic in Sutton. The closest Dynacare is in Keswick. 

Receive your In-Common Laboratories test kit, requisition, and pre-paid Purolator shipping label in one week by mail.

3. View results & interpretation

Results are available within 2 weeks of sample collection. You will be notified by email that your results are ready on Georgina Naturopathic's OutSmart patient portal and sent an access link. 

 The interpretation of results is provided by phone (preferred for privacy) or email. Nutrient dosing guidance is provided for suboptimal levels.  If any results require follow-up, directions for future care and testing are provided.

Complimentary In-Office Tests

Available at every in-person appointment

1Pregnancy Test
Detects pregnancy as early as 8 days after conception, and before a missed period.
2Urine Test
Check for urinary tract infections, and the presence of sugar, blood, protein, bilirubin and ketones.
3Hemoglobin A1C

Finger prick to show blood sugar regulation over the past three months - the percentage of sugar-coated red blood cells.

4Vaginal pH
A test done during a gyneocological exam. Vaginas are usually acidic in order to prevent infection.
